Add Tool To My Favorites
This window appears after you click the star symbol (either or ) next to a tool in the listing on the Home Page.

CU*BASE allows you to favorite the tools you use most. This allows you to quickly launch your most frequently-used tools on a special list accessed by clicking on the "My Favorite Tools" button on the Home Page. (In this way you can view your My Favorite Tools toolset listing your most frequently-used tools!)
To save a tool in your My Favorite Tools toolset, click the star button next to the tool name on the Home Page. On this screen enter the number you want to use for this tool. Then use Enter to return to the Home Page.
The star will then be colored, indicating that the tool has been selected as a favorite.
You can also add a tool to your Favorite toolset on the Tool Info window. On that screen select the "Save As Favorite" button.
To view your favorite toolset, click the My Favorite Tools button in the upper right corner of the Home Page.
For a favorite number you can select any number that is not already used by another favorite. This number is used to order the tools on the My Favorite Tools toolset. It will also be entered in the My # field to access the tool directly.
HINT: In order that your tool number is consistent with documentation and other users, you may elect to enter the original number in this field.
HINT: Remember if you elect to have your own number, your number will not be used in the CU*BASE Online Help or any other documentation. You can see the original number on the Tool Info window. Access Tool Info window by selecting the button next to the tool in the listing.
Remember that you can always come back and change the favorite number by clicking on the star again to access this screen to enter a different number.
While viewing the My Favorite Tools toolset, you will use this number to access the tool. The field on this toolset screen will be labeled "My #."
You can make your My Favorite Tools toolset your default when you log in. Then each time you will see your favorite tools first! This is set up in the Preferences window.
To remove a tool from your favorite toolset, click the star button next to the tool on the Home Page and click the Delete (F16) button.
You can also remove a tool from your favorite toolset on the Tool Info window. On that screen select the "Remove As Favorite" button.
