Welcome to the Help Hub Idea Lab!

Right now, the Help Hub is quite new - brand new, actually! With this new site, we're excited to provide documentation in a new and hopefully improved way, between overviews, deep dives, PDF resources, toolsets by category, and more.

The secret is, we've started to use a new software to develop our help pages, and this software allows us a bit more freedom when it comes to designing new web friendly styled HTML pages for the end user. This new freedom has given us documentation writers an opportunity to explore what CU*BASE documentation means to us, and what it means to you, the end user. As an example, when you're accessing a tool and you need documentation for that tool, do you need an online help page for every screen, or do you need a documentation page that includes all of the screens at once for easy scrolling and finding what you need? That is a capability that we are exploring first in the Idea Lab - tool documentation by tool instead of by screen! Now, this isn't a simple switch, as it requires multiple teams to get in line with how the linking will work from the software to the internet, but as we move into the exploratory stage of this new software, it is at the top of our minds that every new idea we try should be to streamline documentation and make it easier, faster, and better each time you need to use it. While we explore, check this page often for updates on ideas that we've received, ideas that we've had internally, and whatever else we can come up with.
