Access this screen by selecting Add (F6) or by selecting a credit card stock on the previous Credit Card Stock screen. NOTE: You can only add a stock code when you enter the previous screens from the Maintenance access point.

Use this screen to add additional card stock options to the selected credit card BIN. On this screen, you will set up the Stock Code, or if in view-mode, view the Stock Code detail. If in Maintenance, enter a Stock Code identifier (the plastic card stock code used with the plastics vendor—the physical plastic), a Description to help you identify the card stock, and select a Stock Type.

NOTE: A good rule of thumb is to provide detail on the Stock Type in the description.

This Stock Type selection will be shown as a number on all of the other screens. Stock Type selections include:

(0) Unknown (used for conversions)
(1) Pre-printed generic card stock
(2) Pre-printed custom card stock
(3) Pre-printed white stock (generally used when you select to print an image on the card stock) Learn more about card images here.
