The top section of this screen shows current information from this member’s MASTER file record. The right section shows the fields that were changed when the request was submitted. If additional changes are needed, enter the changes into these fields and use Enter to save and return to the previous screen.

All changes made to your MASTER files will be recorded in your File Maintenance log (CUFMAINT) using program name PHBMAST. Direct changes are made using employee ID 96; reviewed changes are made using the employee ID of the person who reviewed and approved the change. Note that if the request itself is changed before it is approved, the program used in UHBMAST, within the table named HBMASTER.

Each time a change is made to the member personal information, a Tracker entry is made on the Audit Tracker that records the old and new values. The Tracker also notes if the Employee ID of the person who made the change in CU*BASE or 96 if the change was made directly by the member in home banking.

NOTE:  Credit unions can require that changes made by members in the Personal Information page in online banking be approved before they are updated in the system. How does that work?

  • Use Update to update the HBMASTER record only, which is a collection of requests to Tool #13.  This will not update the membership record.  

  • Use Apply Change to update the MASTER record with the changes in the Personal Information change request.  The changes requested will become a part of the membership record.  The HBMASTER record, covered above, will change from a pending record to a completed record.
