What are Security Questions?

Security questions are three questions and answers that a member sets up in online banking.

When are security questions used?

Security Questions are used in two situations:

·To reset a member's password online. The member clicks “I forgot my password” on the online banking login page and answers all three of his personal security questions. The system then forces him to change his password to complete the login process.

·As an extra layer of security with PIB. If the member has a PIB profile with login questions enabled, he will be required to answer one of three questions (randomly chosen) every time he logs in.
