Using this Screen
This is the second Abnormal Activity Monitoring patterns configuration screen used to configure out-of-the-ordinary patterns.
This screen is broken down in two sections to allow you to configure different trigger settings for individual memberships and organizational memberships.
Configure the pattern to flag accounts which surpass the defined minimum percentage increase in the average number of transactions and/or average daily transaction amount. (If a percentage is configured for both # and amount, the period must be the same for both.) Define the period to monitor and the period used to determine the average, which will be used to compare transactions against.
If configuring a trigger for the average daily transaction amount, select whether to calculate that average by dividing by the number of transactions during the period or the number of days in the period. (Check out Knowledge Base for examples of the calculation methods.)
Along with configuring the requirements to trigger a pattern, you can also configure the pattern to exclude accounts that do not meet the defined minimum dollar amount/number of transactions within the period.
