Access this screen by using Enter on the previous Patronage Configuration screen.

Use this screen to configure how the payment is made, including setting a minimum payment amount, setting a fixed payment for a specific calculated range, and setting a payment cap.  You can also configure the text that appears on a member's statement and the offset G/L.

To run an audit to estimate the cost of this patronage dividend calculation or to post the dividends use the audit/posting screen.

Field Descriptions

Field Name	Description
If calculation is less then x, between x and x then pay /more than…then pay	You can specify a minimum dividend to pay, so if the member’s calculated dividend is less than, say, $5.00, you can just round up to a minimum of $5 per member. (This same feature could also be used to specify a fixed dividend amount, if you just want to use the program to qualify members then pay them all the same amount, as more of a gift than a true calculated dividend.) You can also specify a cap for the dividend payment amount, and if a member’s calculated dividend is above the cap, the system will pay the cap amount instead. See examples below.
Primary transaction description/secondary transaction description	This allows you to compose the text that will appear on the member’s statement.
General ledger offset	Enter the G/L account where the dividend expense should be posted.
