Add Additional Signer to Pending Loan Application

The steps below explain how to add an additional signer (cosigner, guarantor, spouse) to a loan application.

  1. Launch Tool #2 Work/View Loan Application Status.

  2. In the Jump to: Loan # field, input the application number and use Enter.

  3. Select the appropriate request from the list and select Work With Loan Request.

  4. Select the appropriate request form the list and select Work With Loan Request again.

  5. Select Complete Loan App.

  6. Select Change Co-Applicant.

  7. To add a co-applicant:

    • Input the desired co-applicant’s SSN (or select the co-applicant from the household).

    • Use Enter.

    • Select Continue on the OFAC scan screen (if applicable).

  8. To add an additional signer (guarantor or spouse):

    • Select Additional Signers.

    • Input the desired additional signer’s SSN and select the type of additional signer.

    • Use Enter.

    • Select Update.

    • Select the up arrow.

  9. Select Save/Continue.

  10. On the Credit Report Evaluation pop-up screen, follow your credit union’s policies and procedures.

  11. On the Loan Application screen, select Save/Done.

    • If the Loan App Check Results screen appears, Select Confirm.

  12. Select Save/Done.
