Delete Online Banking Confirmation Code

These steps explain how to delete an online banking confirmation code for a member's account. This code, which is an added security feature in online banking, is used for confirming online banking transactions such as transfers. For example, after a member makes a transfer, the final step to confirm the transfer is entering this code.

  • In order to complete these steps, PIB must first be activated for your credit union. Please contact a CU*Answers client service representative for assistance with activating PIB for your credit union.

  1. Launch Tool #14 Member Personal Banker.

  2. Enter the member's account number.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

    • You may need to click the forward arrow again to move past the Member Account Comments pop-up.

  4. Check the box that reads Personal Internet Branch (enroll or change PIB settings).

  5. Click the forward arrow.

  6. Click the forward arrow again to move past the Email Address Maintenance pop-up.

  7. Click the forward arrow again to move past the first Configure PIB Profile screen.

  8. From the second Configure PIB Profile screen, delete the existing code in the Confirmation Code field.

  9. Under the Confirmation Code heading, uncheck all Require boxes.

  10. Click the forward arrow.

  11. Click Apply & Send.
