Download AIRES File

These steps explain how to download an AIRES file.

  • The following are specific instructions about downloading the AIRES files to a PC for the purpose of delivering it to an examiner. 

  • In order to perform the steps below, you must have special security privileges tied to your CU*BASE employee ID. Learn More

  • Before being able to download an AIRES file using the steps below, you'll need to be signed on to the IBM i.

  • Need help? Let us pull your AIRES file for you! If you want someone to perform the file creation and download process for you, please contact a Client Service Representative. Some credit unions may also qualify for delivery of AIRES information directly to an examiner. For either service, a small processing fee will apply. Find the AIRES File Request Form in the CU*Answers Store.

  1. Launch Tool #1375 Data Transfers (Upload or Download)

  2. On the Data Transfer pop-up, click the Properties button in the bottom right.

  3. On the Download Properties pop-up, in the Conversions tab, check the Convert CCSID 65535 box.

  4. Click OK.

  5. On the Data Transfer pop-up, in the System field under the IBM i heading, enter:

    • PROD.CUANSWERS.COM (for online CU*Answers clients)

    • PROD.SITE-FOUR.COM (for online CU*NorthWest and CU*South clients)

  6. In the File Name field under the IBM i heading, enter one of the following file names, replacing the "XX" with your credit union's two-character ID:

    • Enter FILEXX/AIRESSHDN to produce a share account download.

    • Enter FILEXX/AIRESLNDN to produce a loan account download.

  7. Under the File heading, select File from the Output device drop-down menu.

  8. Beside the Name field under the File heading, click Browse to select a location on your PC to which you'd like to download the AIRES file.

    • If you don't already have an AIRES file on your computer, you can create one in which to store your file download.

  9. In the pop-up that appears after clicking Browse, enter a name for your download.

  10. Click Open.

  11. On the Data Transfer pop-up, click Start Transfer.

  12. When the download is complete, a pop-up will appear showing the number of records in the file. Click OK.
