Find Company ID for ACH Distribution Record

These steps explain how to find the company ID for an ACH distribution record.

• When processing an ACH transaction, keep in mind that the company ID is not the same as the trace number.

1. Launch Tool #989 Work with ACH Members/Companies.

2. Enter the member's account base in the Account base field.

3. Click the forward arrow.

4. From here, there are two ways to view the company ID:

   • Click Alternate View.

     1. In the second column from the left, the company ID will be listed for each ACH distribution record.

   • Select the desired ACH distribution record and click the forward arrow.

     1. The company ID will be listed in the Company ID/Name field on the next screen.
