Set Limit for One-Time Transfers to Sub-Account

These steps explain how to limit the amount a member can transfer within his/her own account at one time in online banking.

  • In order to complete these steps, PIB must first be activated for your credit union. Please contact a CU*Answers client service representative for assistance with activating PIB for your credit union.

  1. Launch Tool #14 Member Personal Banker.

  2. Enter the member's account number in the Account Base field.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

  4. Check the box labeled Personal Internet Branch (enroll or change PIB settings).

  5. Click the forward arrow.

  6. Click the forward arrow again to move past the Email Address Maintenance pop-up after you've verified the information on this pop-up.

  7. Click the forward arrow again to move past the first Configure PIB Profile screen.

  8. Enter the base account transfer limit in the second Maximum Amount field (in the same row as the Transfer within base account field to the left) under the Feature Limits in Whole Dollar Amounts heading.

    • Enter the limit in whole dollars (i.e. 100 for a $100.00 limit).

  9. Click the forward arrow.

  10. Click Apply & Send.
