View Members in Specific Area

These steps explain how to use a canned Query to view a list of members in a particular city.

  • The term field may also be referred to as column in the context of Queries. For details, refer to the online course CMS 100 - Report Builder: Canned Query.

  1. Launch Tool #524 Membership Records (MASTER).

  2. Select City (CITY) from the list of available fields on the Select Records screen.

  3. Select Equal To in the Comparison drop-down menu.

  4. Enter the city name in all caps and in single quotes in the Criteria column.

  5. Click the forward arrow.

Follow the steps below to view a list of members in a particular city AND state.

  • These steps use multiple conditions. This can be useful for city names that exist within multiple states to ensure you do not get results for a different state.

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above.

  2. Click the first drop-down menu under the Combine column and select And.

  3. Select State (STATE) from the list of available fields.

  4. Select Equal To in the Comparison drop-down menu.

  5. Enter the state abbreviation in all caps and in single quotes in the Criteria column.

  6. Click the forward arrow.
