View Online Banking Confirmation Code

These steps explain how to view a member's online banking confirmation code that was previously set up by your credit union.

  • These steps are helpful in cases where a member has forgotten what their confirmation code is.

  • This code, which is an added security feature in online banking, is used for confirming online banking transactions such as transfers. For example, after a member makes a transfer, the final step to confirm the transfer is entering this code.

  • In order to complete these steps, PIB must first be activated for your credit union. Please contact a CU*Answers client service representative for assistance with activating PIB for your credit union.

  • After following the steps below, you will see the member's current confirmation code in the Confirmation code field on the second Configure PIB Profile screen.

  1. Launch Tool #14 Member Personal Banker.

  2. On the Member Personal Banker pop-up, enter the member's account number.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

    • You may need to click the forward arrow again to move past the Member Reminders pop-up.

  4. On the Member Personal Banker screen, check the box labeled Personal Internet Branch (enroll or change PIB settings).

  5. Click the forward arrow.

  6. Click the forward arrow again to move past the Email Address Maintenance pop-up.

  7. Click the forward arrow again to move past the first Configure PIB Profile screen.
