Access this screen by selecting Import (F11) from the previous screen.

Do you have a file, such as user defined, flat file (Query), or comma delimited (Excel spreadsheet), with a batch of debit and credit entries you want to post?  (This includes batch posting of RDC (Remote Deposit Capture) deposits).

Select a file option (ACH, flat, user-defined fixed format or user-defined comma delimited) and enter filename in the “File to import” field  Additionally enter a transaction type (deposit, payment or withdrawal, a description (if desired), a default IRA/HSA code.

  • Important Note:  Hold days can only be placed on deposit transactions to savings and checking accounts. These holds follow the rules set in the "Mail/Direct Deposit Holds - Imported Batches Only side (right side) of the Automated Holds Configuration.  Check "Apply automated deposit holds" to populate the Hold Days field on the entry screen with the configured number of days. (The Automated Deposit holds also controls the way the Reg CC rules are applied.)  Depending on the Automated Holds Configuration, you may or may not be able to make changes to the hold days once the file is imported.  (RDC-IQ uses the hold placed by this feature.)

Check out the video about remote check deposits.

  • NOTE:  If needed, the IRA field in the file used in the upload can be left blank.

  • Warning! Only use the Description field if you want to override the description in the file.

Then use Import (F5). If you select to upload a user-defined file or comma delimited file, you will advance to the next screen to define the file.
