Access this screen by selecting an agency and selecting Display or Change on the first screen.

These screens are used to set up the credit bureau reporting agencies that can be selected to print on a member denial notice. Denial notices are printed for loan applications as well as for other miscellaneous member service purposes, such as checking account applications, etc. The agency names configured here are selected on the final denial notice screen.  Whichever Name is listed first in this screen will be the default name used

The list at the top of the screen contains names that can be used for the Decision based on report from consumer reporting agency option under the “Disclosure” section on the denial notice.

Use the fields at the bottom of the screen to record the name and address of the regulatory agency responsible for administering your credit union's compliance with the Federal Equal Opportunity Act (EOA). There are also fields to enter the range the agency uses. This information prints near the very bottom of the denial notice form. Be sure to use Enter to save any changes made to these fields.

Numbering Information

The system has hard coded the following agencies based on how a credit report is stored in the file when pulled by CU*BASE.

    • Experian (1)
    • Transunion (2)
    • Equifax (3)
    • CBCInnovis (4) does not have its own denial codes.  Instead CU*BASE will show the denial codes of your primary credit bureau.  (NOTE: Tri-Merge credit scores are no longer supported.)

NOTE:  The system will change the number to reference 1-3 if any of the words above are entered. If 1-3 is entered on this screen and an agency other than the ones listed above is used, the number will be changed to the next available number beginning with 4. Numbers beginning with 4 are for use with other agencies.  This number will be carried over to the entry screen.
