The Operator Edition (OPER) Home Page
Click here to magnify | |
Screen ID: | MOMENU-01 |
Screen Title: | CU*BASE Operator Edition |
Panel Number: | 7315 |
Important: To access the Operations side of CU*BASE, you must be assigned access to CU*BASE Tool #571: Operations menu.
Note for Self-Processors: Remember, OPER users are data center users. Before accessing OPER, self-processors must use their data center ID that has been configured for use in OPER only, as this differs from the regular CU*BASE employee ID. Before accessing OPER from CU*BASE, turn off auto-security, and turn it back on using your DC Employee ID, then access OPER as usual. Users who do not use auto-security will simply enter their data center employee ID when accessing OPER.
The Home Page Header
On the left side of the screen, your credit union name (or for Operators, the credit union library that you've accessed) will be displayed, as well as the CUID and CU# associated with it.
Note that the clock is a runtime clock, mostly for Operators as they are performing their tasks and indicating the time. The clock does not move fluidly, but rather resets when the homepage resets with a refresh or a re-entry, or when the clock refresh button itself is used.
Along the top, CU*BASE Operator Edition will always appear, along with either "All My Tools", "All Available Tools", or "My Favorite Tools" depending on which filter category was selected (see below for more information on those). Note that the default when entering this screen is "All My Tools" - if you are searching for a tool and it is not coming up in the listing, try switching to "All Available Tools" and searching again; if it appears grayed out, this means that you do not have permission to access the tool and will need to use Tool #5606 or Tool #5608 to assign access.
Additionally, the button/icons you see will perform the following functions:

Note: during the transition period from OPER menus to the OPER tool database, special shortucts have been created for the previous OPER menus, such as MNOP21, that include the functions that existed on that menu. These shortcuts will be available for a short period of time before they are removed.
Filter by runsheet group - to filter by the Runsheet Group.
Search for - If you are unsure where a particular feature or option is located in OPER enter a word or a partial word in the Search field and press Enter. You will be presented with tools that have the text you entered either in the tool name, or in the description or keywords that have been associated with the text you entered.
-
IMPORTANT: Dashes and special characters cannot be used in the Search field. In this case, click the refresh button next to the Search field to reset your search.
Using the Tool Filters
Use these dropdowns to filter your homepage to your desires. You can select "All My Tools", "All Available Tools", or "My Favorite Tools" to display those particular tools. The default upon entry is to show "All My Tools", which will display all tools that you have been assigned security access to. If you don't see a tool, try to filter by "All Available Tools" as you may not have access to that tool. Any tools that are greyed out in the listed are tools to which you have not been assigned.
To filter the tool listing by Type Code, select the Filter by Type and choose a Type. These type codes have been pre-configured by the database administrator.
To refresh all filters and return to the All My Tools setting, use the Refresh Filters option. This option will also reset the clock.
