This screen contains the master parameters that control how online banking will behave for your members. Complete all fields (described below) as appropriate and use Enter to save.

IMPORTANT: Online credit unions are only able to access a view-only version of this screen via Tool #140. If you would like any of these settings to be changed for your credit union, contact a CU*BASE Client Service Representative. Self-processing credit unions should also consult a Client Service Representative for advice before making changes to these settings. Remember that some features used in a service bureau environment are not appropriate in the in-house environment.

Allow online banking (It's Me 247) |
If this is checked, this turns It’s Me 247 on for the credit union. This may be set to no, for example in situations where the credit union has not yet converted to CU*BASE. |
Allow multi-logon business banking | If this is checked, this turns BizLINK 247 on for the credit union. This may be set to no, for example in situations where the credit union has not yet converted to CU*BASE. |
Allow single-logon business banking | If this is checked, this turns MyBIZ on for the credit union. This may be set to no, for example in situations where the credit union has not yet converted to CU*BASE. |
Activate online banking for new memberships |
If this box is checked, new members will automatically be granted access to online banking. However, a credit union employee still needs to give the member the temporary password to access audio banking. If checked, whenever a new membership is created, that member will be immediately allowed access to online banking. If unchecked, new members must be granted access manually using the Member Update ARU/Online Banking Access feature. |

Online banking Use Agreement |
NOTE: Only the core processor changes this date. This date reflects the revision date on the It's Me 247 Use Agreement which members must read and accept the first time that they attempt to access online banking. If a new revision is published, this date can either be updated to require all members to re-read and accept the newest revision, even if they have already accepted a revision in the past. If the date is not altered, new members will see the updated version, but existing members will not be required to read the agreement again. |

Check this flag if online banking transactions should be considered subject to Regulation E. |
Check request allowed |
Check this box if you wish to allow members to request a check through online banking. Checks can be drawn on any of the member's accounts and are made payable to the member's primary name and address. Checks are produced in a batch then printed by a credit union employee through CU*BASE. If this feature is enabled, checks should be printed on a daily basis using the Print Auto/Mail Checks feature. |
Stop payments allowed |
Check this box if you wish to allow members to request a stop payment using online banking. Your normal stop payment fee will be charged to the same checking account on which the stop payment order was placed. |
Retain stop payments for |
If the Stop payments allowed box was checked, enter the number of months or days that stop payment requests should be retained when placed through online banking (typically 14 days). |
AFT maintenance allowed |
Check this box if you wish to allow members to add or maintain automated funds transfer (AFT) records in online banking. |
CFT allow partial checks |
If allowing CFT maintenance, use this flag to set the default for the setting on the CFT that controls whether or not partial checks can be produced. SEE ALSO:CFT Maintenance |
CFT maintenance allowed | Check this box if you wish to allow members to add or maintain automated funds transfer (AFT) records in online banking. |
Inter-member transfers set to |
This area determines what the member sees when making a transfer to another member in online banking. Inter-member transfers set to If “Enter acct and first three of name” (E) is selected, members will be able to manually enter an account (and the first three letters of the last name) when making transfers (both Quick and Scheduled transfers and transfers for ACH distributions. A space will be provided to allow the member to enter this information. NOTE: If the credit union selects this option, it will not be available in BizLINK 247.) If "Member Defined list” (M) is selected, members can only transfer to members on their transfer control list while making a transfer in online banking (all three options supported). This lets you grant transfer privileges to individual members only as requested by the members. This is done through the Transfer controls are set for individual members using the Update ARU/Online Bank Transfers feature. If "Both E & M” (B) is selected, the member will have both transfer options. For instructions on using both of these features, refer to the It's Me 247 Strategies for Controlling Member Access PIB NOTE: The PIB Profile online tool also includes an optional feature that allows members to set up their transfer control lists online in their PIB Profile. Tracker Type Memo Type |
Since the main purpose of this tool (showing credit scores in online banking) is to start a conversation with members who are curious about their credit history, every time a member visits the credit score page, the system logs a tracker note automatically. You can choose the Tracker Type and Memo Type code you wish to use for these notes. These can be left these blank if you do not wish to create trackers. See Credit Scores in Online Banking booklet for tips on following up with members. |
Show if most recent score is <= xx days old |
This controls how old the most recent score must be in order to show scores to the member at all. In other words, if the most recent score in file is older than this period, the system will treat the score as if the member has no scores on file.

Check withdrawal minimum Maximum |
If Check requests allowed is checked, use these fields to control the check amounts that can be requested. Enter both a minimum and a maximum amount (leave blank for any check amount). This is helpful if you wish to avoid printing checks for very small amounts or to help mitigate the risks associated with large check amounts. |
QFX download No Quicken Quickbooks Both |
Select which version of Quicken download you allow your members to use. Select from No (not allowed), Quicken, Quickbooks, or Both (Quicken and Quickbooks). This selection determines which format are available on the Downloads page in online banking. Prior to activation, the credit union needs to establish a relationship with the vendor(s). |
Check Image ID |
If your credit union's checks are processed through a supported vendor, enter the vendor-appropriate letter. This will allow members to view and print copies of their cancelled checks when in online banking. There will be no fee charged to either the credit union or the member for this service.

Check 21 processor |
If your credit union has made arrangements for counter-killed checks (inhouse drafts) to be imaged so that they can be viewed via online banking, this field lets us indicate the Check 21 processor from which the check images will be pulled. Requires custom setup depending on the credit union's check processor and may also require custom programming in online banking. |
