Activate Switch Account Feature

These steps explain how to activate the Switch Account feature, also known as the See/Jump feature, for a member in online banking.

  1. Launch Tool #14 Member Personal Banker.

  2. In the Member Personal Banker pop-up, input the account base of the member to whom you'd like to grant See/Jump access.

    • For example, if Joe Member calls your credit union and requests that his wife, Sally Member, be given See/Jump access to his account, then you would input Joe Member's account base here.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

    • You may need to click the forward arrow again to move past the Member Reminders pop-up.

  4. On the Member Personal Banker screen, click the Go! button beside See/Jump Relationships.

  5. On the Manage Member See/Jump Authorizations screen, select the account holder and features the member requested from the list of eligible account holders.

    • If Jump is selected, See must also be checked.

  6. Click Save.

Notes

Once the Jump feature is activated, your members will be able to “jump” to another account from within their own account (without having to log into the other account) and conduct transactions in it, with a few exceptions such as applying for a loan or changing a password.

Once the See feature is activated, your members will be able to “see” the other account's information from within their own account (without having to log into the other account). They will be able to see such information as account balances and transaction history.

Prior to setting up the See and/or Jump features for a member, you must contact a CU*Answers client service representative at 800.327.3478, ext. 255, to activate this service for your credit union.

In order for a member to have See and/or Jump access to another account, the other member needs to have already contacted your credit union authorizing such access to their account(s).
