Create New Certificate Product

These steps explain how to create a new certificate product.

  • If you have never created a new product, please contact a CU*Answers Client Service Representative before completing the steps below.

  • After completing the steps below, you will need to input a rate for the new certificate. To do this, follow the steps to update the certificate rate.

  1. Launch Tool #194 Certificate Products Configuration.

  2. Select Certificate type on the first Certificate of Deposit Maintenance pop-up.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

  4. Enter a two-character code in the Certificate type field on the second Certificate of Deposit Maintenance pop-up.

    • The number must be one not already in use in the list displayed.

  5. Click the forward arrow.

  6. Complete all fields on the Certificate of Deposit Maintenance screen.

  7. Click the forward arrow.
