Create New Payment/Transfer Code (Dividend Frequency)

These steps explain how to configure a new payment/transfer code for certificates of deposit (CDs).

1. Launch Tool #194 Certificate Products Configuration.

2. Select Payment/Transfer Codes on the first Certificate of Deposit Maintenance pop-up.

3. Use the forward arrow.

4. Enter a single-character code in the Payment/transfer code field on the second Certificate of Deposit Maintenance pop-up.

   • The code must be one that is not already in use in the list displayed.

5. Use the forward arrow.

6. On the Certificate of Deposit Maintenance screen, fill in the Description field and the Length in days and/or months fields.

7. Use the forward arrow to save.
