Delete Username for Online Banking
These steps explain how to delete the username a member set up to log into online banking.

A username can be used in place of an account number when logging into online banking.

Only members can create user names in online banking.

Employees can only view or delete a member’s username in CBX.

Always follow credit union policy prior to resetting a member’s password or security questions via CBX, especially if the member is not present. Verify Member, available on several screens, allows you to access a screen containing member information such as a code word that you can use to confirm the member’s identity.

Launch Tool #14 Member Personal Banker.

Enter the account base.

Click the forward arrow.

You may need to click the forward arrow again to move past the Member Reminders pop-up.

Select Online banking/ARU (activate, change PIN/password; view password history).

Click the forward arrow..
- The username, if one exists, will appear at the top of the screen.

Check the box labeled Delete username.

Click Submit.

Be sure a reason code is selected.

Click Reset Credentials.
