Export CU*Spy Report into Excel
These steps explain how to save a report in CU*Spy as an Excel document.

Click the Time-out (pause) button at the bottom of your screen.

Select CU*Spy Daily Reports on the Time-Out Options pop-up.

In the Internet browser window that opens up, enter the report search criteria.

Click the forward arrow.

Check the box beside the report(s) you'd like to export.

You can select more than one report, but some reports are so large that you may only be able to do one report at a time.

Keep the default TXT selected.

Click the Combine and Print button (printer icon).

In the new browser window that opens up with the report, click the Tools button (gear icon) in the upper right-hand corner.

Click File.
-
Click Save as.

In the Save Webpage window that opens up, enter a name for the report in the File name field.

Select Text File in the Save as type drop-down menu.

Select a location in which to save the document.

Click Save.

Open Excel.
-
Click File.
-
Click Open.

Click Computer.

Click Browse.

In the Open window that pops up, click the drop-down menu in the lower-right corner.

Select All Files.

Select the text file you had previously saved.

Click Open.

In the Text Import Wizard - Step 1 of 3 window, select your preferred settings.

Click Next.

In the Text Import Wizard - Step 2 of 3 window, select your preferred settings.

Click Next.

In the Text Import Wizard - Step 3 of 3 window, select your preferred settings.

Click Finish.
