Reverse Fee Charged to Account  

These steps explain how to use the Transaction Reversal feature to reverse a fee charged to an account.

  • CAUTION: Use the Transaction Reversal feature ONLY when the transaction does NOT affect a teller drawer. The main difference between this feature and the Member Account Adjustment feature is that the Transaction Reversal feature automatically supplies the correct G/L accounts to be adjusted, based on the original transaction.

  • Consult a CU*Answers client service representative before reversing a transaction from a previous month.

  1. Launch Tool #869 Transaction Reversal.

  2. Enter the account number and suffix to which the fee was charged on the Account Transaction Reversal pop-up.

  3. Enter the start date of the transactions you'd like to display.

  4. Click the forward arrow.  

  5. Select the transaction from the list on the next Account Transaction Reversal pop-up.

  6. Click Select.

  7. Click Post to process the reversal.

  8. Click the forward arrow to confirm on the Request Complete pop-up.
