Unenroll Member from Mailings

These steps explain how to unenroll a member from any future promotional mailings from third-party vendors or promotional mailings from the credit union.

  • NOTE: The employee must have File maintenance checked in their special security settings within Tool #327 CU*BASE Employee Security in order to edit a member's opt-out flags.

  • Member opt-out status may also be changed on the Name/Address maintenance screens within Phone Operator.

  • These steps are helpful in cases of AD&D mailings, ID theft, etc.

  1. Launch Tool #15 Update Membership Information.

  2. Enter the member account base.

  3. Use Enter to proceed to the maintenance screen.

  4. Use Enter until you reach the third Update Membership screen.

    • To unenroll the member from 3rd party mailings, check the box labeled 3rd-party opt out.

    • To unenroll the member from CU mailings, check the box labeled CU opt out.

  5. Use Enter to save.
