View Where Your Members Borrow

These steps explain how to find out where your members borrow.

  • Knowing where else your members have loans can help your credit union target a specific group of members and offer them a promotion for moving their money to your credit union.

  1. Launch Tool #976 Where Your Members Borrow.

  2. Enter the starting date from which you'd like to view member loans in the Loan request from field on the Where Your Members Borrow screen.

    • For example, if you'd like to see all loans that members have taken out since January 2012, you'd enter "01012012."

  3. Enter the top number of loans you'd like to view in the Display top field.

    • For example, if you'd like to view the top ten loans, you'd enter "10" in this field. The screen will then summarize everything else into one record called Other, which will be located at the bottom of the list.

  4. Select Member in the Member type field.

  5. Enter the member credit score below which you don't want to see any loans in the Omit credit scores < field.

    • For example, if you don't want to see any loans of members who have a score of 500 or below, then you'd enter "500" in this field.

  6. Select All in the Loan type drop-down menu.

  7. Click the forward arrow.

    • Once the report comes into view, on the Analysis tab, you'll see the loans listed by creditor.

    • Click Member Connect if you'd like to contact (via email or other method) this group of members for marketing purposes.
