Work Open Follow-Up

These steps explain how to work and close an open follow-up Tracker.

  • Always record notes about the follow-up you performed and why you are closing a follow-up. This will allow others to review your notes and respond accordingly.

  • In addition to the method below, you can also access open follow-ups via the Follow-Ups button in Member Inquiry.

  1. Launch Tool #5 Work with Member Follow-Ups.

  2. Enter the two-digit employee ID to which the Tracker was assigned in the Assigned to employee ID field on the Work with Follow-Ups screen.

  3. Enter the account number to which the Tracker was assigned in the Account # field.

  4. Select Open in the Status field.

  5. Check the Show Follow-Up box.

  6. Select the desired Tracker from the list.

  7. Click Follow-up.

  8. Enter the corresponding memo code in the Memo type box on the Member Tracker Entry screen.

  9. In the box below the Speaking to field, enter detailed notes about the follow-up you performed and why you are closing the follow-up.

  10. Click Save/Continue.

  11. Leave checked the box labeled Update last contact date for this account.

  12. Uncheck the box labeled Entry just made requires a follow-up.

  13. Leave checked the box labeled Mark worked follow-up as complete.

  14. Click the forward arrow.
