Assign Tool to Individual Employee

These steps explain how to grant a credit union employee access to a particular tool or tools in CU*BASE.

  • Following the steps below will allow the employee to launch the tool from all access points on the CU*BASE home screen (by entering the tool #, by entering the tool shortcut, etc.).

  • With some tools such as BSA Configuration, Cashed Check Fee Configuration, Check Printing Fee Configuration, and Dormancy Configuration, when you complete the steps below, a window will appear asking if you would like to give the employee view-only access or full access to the tool. In this case, select view-only access if you would like the employee to be able to see the current tool settings but be unable to change any settings. Select full access if you would like the employee to be able to both view and change settings.

  • After following the steps below, ask the employee to log out and back in to CU*BASE to access their new tool assignment.

  • Please note that some tools do not require special security and are therefore not listed on the Assign Tools to Employees screen. Learn More
