Access this screen via Phone Operator or Inquiry, by selecting the loan account and the spyglass next to Delinquency. There, select the "Reporting History" button to arrive at this screen.
This screen displays a record showing every time this loan (or savings or checking account) was included in a file that was transmitted to your credit union's chosen credit bureau(s).
-
NOTE: This record indicates the loan (or savings/checking account) was sent to the bureau, not whether the bureau actually posted the file or not.
For a loan account: Whenever a credit bureau file is generated, a record is created showing the date and loan status information that was included in the file. This information is retained throughout the life of the loan, so over time the number of records in this list will grow. It will also be retained with the closed account record after the loan is closed.
For a savings and checking account: When the loan is charged off and closed, if the one-time reporting to the credit bureau is activated, a record is created showing the date and loan status information. There will be only one record for a savings and checking account. SEE ALSO Charge Off Saving/Checking Accounts for more information.
If the Reported column shows a Y, the loan was reported to the bureau(s) for that month. If this column shows N instead, the loan was not included in the file that was sent to the bureau(s). Click here to see typical reasons why members will not be reported.
-
Select one of the records and use Select or Enter to display the Credit Bureau Reporting History Detail window showing more information about this particular record as it was sent to the bureau(s). (For Savings/Checking accounts, only one record will show on this screen. Access the detail here)
-
Use Summary (F5) to display the Credit Bureau Reporting History Summary window showing the number of times the loan has been reported at each of the available status codes.
IMPORTANT: Data for this summary is pulled from file CBTRPTH. This file began being populated with credit bureau files sent in October, 2006.
