Configuring Member Service Denial Notices (1)

UDNTYP-01 Configure Denial Notice Types 6263 |
|
This screen appears when you use Configure Denial Notice Types (F12) on the initial Denied Application Processing screen.
Denial Type codes are used when creating denial notice for denying a new membership, a new checking account, or other credit union products and services. This code governs the text that appears on the denial notice itself.
In addition, these codes can be recorded on both member and non-member records to document why a particular person or organization should be denied additional memberships at your credit union.
-
If you deny a membership as part of the membership creation process (the denial notice must actually be printed), the Denial Type code you use for the denial notice will be recorded automatically on a new non-member record, along with the date. The Deny membership flag will be checked automatically, as well, so that future membership requests from this same person (must be a matching SSN) will be denied automatically.
To create or modify a Denial Type code, enter a 2-character code and use Enter to proceed to the next screen.
