Updating NSF Statistics - Deleting NSF Transactions

This screen appears when you select a year and click Delete Transactions on the NSF Statistics Summary screen.

This screen shows all of the individual transactions that are included in the NSF history for this account. To delete one of the transactions from this member's NSF transaction history, select it in the list and click Delete. One confirmation message will appear.

• This will remove the transaction from the NSF transaction history file (file name NSFTR), but regular account transaction history will not be affected. This feature was designed so that you could remove an item so it no longer appears when viewing the NSF Transaction Inquiry feature from Member Inquiry or Phone software. Although it is rare, deleting a transaction from NSF history might be useful in situations where a transaction that was originally posted NSF was later reversed and should not be included in the member's historical records.

Once a transaction is deleted from NSF history, the system will automatically adjust the total number of NSF transactions shown on the previous summary screen.
