Add Extension to Closed-End Consumer Loan

These steps explain how to add an extension to a closed-end consumer loan.

• This is the preferred method of adding an extension because it limits the items you can adjust on the loan.

• You can track the changes made on this screen on the New/Refinanced Loan History report, generated using Tool #554 New/Refinanced Loan History Report.

1. Launch Tool #507 Member Refinances/Extensions.  

2. Input the account number and loan suffix in the loan/open credit refinance pop-up.

3. Click the forward arrow.

4. Alter the desired items on the Loan/Open Credit Refinance screen:

   • Payment date

   • Payment amount

   • Maturity date

5. Click the forward arrow.

6. Print loan forms as needed.
