Add Overdraft Protection to Account

These steps explain how to add overdraft protection to an account.

  1. Launch Tool #908 Update Overdraft Protection.

  2. Input the member's account number on the Account Search & Select screen.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

  4. Select the sub-account to which you'd like to add overdraft protection on the Member Overdraft Protection Maintenance screen.

  5. Click Add.

  6. Enter the base and suffix of the account from which overdraft funds will be withdrawn on the Member Overdraft Protection pop-up.

    • You can enter up to four accounts to protect this one account, depending on credit union policy.

    • Different account bases can be used.

    • Enter the accounts in order based on which account should be used first, second, etc.

  7. Click the forward arrow.

  8. Click Update.
