Add Secured-Funds Hold

These steps explain how to hold funds on an account.

  • Holding funds may be necessary in cases where there is a bad two-party check, a garnishment, or backup withholding owed.

  1. Launch Tool #903 Update Misc. Secured Funds Information.

  2. Enter the account base and suffix for securing the funds in the Miscellaneous Secured Funds pop-up.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

  4. Click Add on the Miscellaneous Secured Funds screen.

  5. Enter a description (i.e. branch number, etc.) on the Miscellaneous Secured Funds (Update) screen.

  6. Enter the amount of the funds hold.

  7. Click Add/Update.
