Change ATM/Debit Card Spending Limit Temporarily
These steps explain how to temporarily change the daily limit on a member's ATM/debit card.
-
Prior to following these steps, ensure that the Check limits box is checked on the PIN Based Transaction Configuration screen within OPER Tool #5412 EFT: BIN Configuration.
-
For self-processing credit unions, this box can be checked in OPER Tool #5412 after selecting a BIN, choosing the Maintenance option, and using Enter on the first ATM/Debit/Credit BIN Configuration screen. Online credit unions will need to contact a CU*Answers client service representative to have this box checked.
-
-
After completing these steps, the member will receive a temporary increase in their spending limit for only the day on which the maintenance was performed, after which limits will revert back to what they were prior to the temporary increase.
