Copy/Merge ACH Distribution Records
These steps explain how to copy all ACH distribution information from one company into another in situations where a company begins transmitting using a different company name and ID. This eliminates manual re-keying of distribution details.
- 
                                                This action copies all member distribution information (depositor account numbers, distribution codes, sequence numbers, etc.) from the old company ID into the new company ID. 
- 
                                                The new company ID will need to be added prior to the copy/merge. Follow steps to set up an ACH record. 
- 
                                                After performing the steps below, when you go into the new company, you’ll see the new transfers and posting account numbers. 
- 
                                                To view the records that show the results of the Copy/Merge function, look for records with the wording “DEPOSITOR DELETED” in the Daily File Maintenance Report (LELOG2).

                                                In the Company name field, enter the old company name to search. 
- 
                                                Click the forward arrow. 
- 
                                                Select the old company ID. 
- 
                                                Choose theCopy/Merge Dist option. 
- 
                                                In the To company ID field, enter the new company ID. 
- 
                                                In the To company name field, enter the new company name. 
- 
                                                Click Copy/Merge. 
- 
                                                Click Add/Update.
