Determine Why Overdraft Protection Did Not Transfer Funds

These steps explain how to determine why an overdraft account did not transfer funds.

  • If after performing the steps below you still cannot determine why overdraft protection did not transfer funds, contact a CU*Answers client service representative.

  1. Determine that the account had funds available at the time of the transfer.  

  2. Determine if the account is or had previously been frozen.

  3. Check the review date of the loan, if the overdraft protection is a loan.
