Enroll Member in eAlerts

These steps explain how to enroll a member in eAlerts.

  • Members can enroll themselves in eAlerts by hovering over the Info Center button in online banking and then clicking eAlert Subscriptions.

  1. Launch Tool #14 Member Personal Banker.

  2. Enter the member's account number and click the forward arrow.

    • You may need to click the forward arrow again to move past the Member Reminders pop-up.

  3. Check the box labeled eAlerts/eNotices (subscribe or change settings; view eAlert history) on the Member Personal Banker screen.

  4. Click the forward arrow.

  5. Click Add on the Member eAlert/eNotice Maintenance screen.

  6. On the eAlert Add pop-up, enter the account suffix in the field corresponding to the type of eAlert the member has requested.

  7. Click Continue.

  8. On the Member eAlert Account Balance Detail Maintenance screen, enter the desired values in the fields labeled Send eAlert when my account balance is above/below.

  9. In the Send eAlert field, select the desired notification method:

    • Select Only to secure message center if the member wants to receive an online banking message only.

    • Select Only to secure message center with a simple email reminder if the member also wants to receive an email notification.  

      1. An email address is required for this option. If an email address is not on file for this member, click the up arrow to exit and then click Email to enter the email address.

      2. If this box is checked and a member’s email address is marked as a “wrong” email address at a later time, the member will stop receiving an email notification and will receive a message in online banking only.

    • Select Send the complete alert via email only if the member would like to receive an email providing all details of the eAlert. (Note: This message will not include any personal information, such as membership number or member name.) A “read” online banking message will also appear in the member’s online banking Message Center.

  10. If the member would like to also receive the eAlert via text, check the box labeled Send text alert to mobile devices.

    • Enrollment in text banking is required for this option.

  11. Click Update.
