Mark Draft Exception to Be Deleted
These steps explain how to mark a draft exception for deletion.
-
When a corporate/credit union-issued check shows up as an exception on the Update Exceptions/Returns screen, accessible via Tool #986 CHECKS 1: Work Member Exception File, you need to manually clear the check and perform a journal entry to correct the general ledger. You then need to mark the draft exception for deletion. To perform this final step, follow the instructions below.
-
After you follow these steps, the item will not be deleted until you confirm the deletion using Tool #279 CHECKS 4: Confirm/Transmit Mbr Returns. Learn more about this tool. Follow your credit union policy regarding who performs this step. *NOTE: This option is only used for CU*Answers Item Processing Clients.*
