Description |
Allow new membership application online |
If you have set up an online membership app (MOP/MAP), this flag controls whether you want to include a “Become a Member” link at the bottom of the It's Me 247 online banking login screen.
NOTE: You must have an online membership application configured. Visit the store for more details ordering the Membership Opening Process and Membership Application Process (MOP/MAP). NOTE: The Member Instructions button for online membership applications is no longer used. |
Dividend application to be used |
If you are applying a membership application fee for applications received online, enter the Dividend Application for your base share and where the fee should apply (must be SH unless you have custom programming arrangements for another method). NOTE: This feature is no longer used by the online membership application (MOP) when an application is auto-approved and opened online. However, it will be used if the app comes into the CU*BASE queue (MAP) and is approved by a credit union employee (via Tool #13) |
Apply membership application fee |
If you wish to charge your normal new membership fee for applications received online, check this flag and the system will charge your usual new member fee from the -000 account when the account is approved and actually opened. Remember this is the new member fee, not par value. Your credit union's normal par value will apply to these new members just as with your regular new memberships. NOTE: This feature is no longer used by the online membership application (MOP) when an application is auto-approved and opened online. However, it will be used if the app comes into the CU*BASE queue (MAP) and is approved by a credit union employee (via Tool #13). |
Activate savings rate board |
Check this flag if you wish to allow members to view information and rates for your savings products in online banking. NOTE: This must be checked even if you plan only to show available savings accounts and rate information on the Rate Board but not make any products available to be opened on line. If you do not wish to use the Savings Rate Board to display rates and sales information about savings accounts or allow accounts to be opened in online banking, leave this unchecked.
|
Activate certificate rate board |
Check this flag if you wish to allow members to view information and rates for certificate products in online banking. |

Check this flag if you wish to allow members to view information and rates for loan products in online banking. NOTE: This must be checked if you wish to show available loans and rate information on the “Rate Board,” even if you do not plan to allow loan applications to be submitted on line. If you do not wish to use the Loan Rate Board to display rates and sales information about loan accounts or allow members to submit Loan Applications in online banking, leave this unchecked.

Designed for credit unions with community property laws. Refer to the Associated Application booklet for more details. Once this box is checked, if an applicant indicates that he or she is married, they will be required to enter a co-applicant on the online loan application. Additionally the co-applicant screen will be labeled “Information about Your Spouse” and the question, “Is your co-applicant your spouse?” will be removed. |
Allow maint. of personal info by member (online) |
This setting controls whether or not members can request changes to personal information through It's Me 247 online banking, including address, phone, fax and email address. Code word (which is used for verification of the member prior to access to the members account) is also changed via the member using this section of online banking. Once the change is made, either immediately or by the credit union (see below), the member will receive an online banking message in the Secure Message Center, as well as an email message alerting the member of this change. If an email address change is made, the member will receive a email at both the old and new email address. Click here to read the text used in this email notification. Each time a change is made to the member personal information, a Tracker entry is made on the Audit Tracker that records the old and new values. The Tracker also notes if the Employee ID of the person who made the change in CU*BASE or 96 if the change was made directly by the member in home banking. Choose one of the following: No - With this setting, the “Update Personal Info” option will still appear, but the member will not be able to request changes to their personal information via online banking. Direct Update (No Approval) - With this setting, the “Update Personal Info” option will appear in online banking. Any changes the member makes to his or her personal information in online banking will immediately modify your credit union's MASTER file, with no approval or intervention by a credit union employee. Changes will appear on your normal File Maintenance log (CUFMNT) using program name UCMAST and employee ID 96. Reviewed Update (Approval Required) - With this setting, the “Update Personal Info” button option will appear in online banking. Any changes the member makes to his or her personal information in online banking will appear using Tool #13 Work Online Bankg Apps/Requests (Shortcut: online). With this setting, when a member submits a request in online banking, the following message will appear: Your request has been submitted. Changes will be made after being reviewed by a credit union employee. Contact the Credit Union with any questions. A credit union employee must monitor this list on a daily basis to review any changes requested and manually approve the change in order for it to affect the MASTER file.
Direct Update with two factor (text/email) When you select this option the system prompts members to enter a confirmation code (sent via text or email) to access the Personal Information module. (This grants access until they log off of online banking.) This adds another layer of security to help prevent unauthorized access to this area. The changes made are automatically implemented. The email or phone number must be associated with the membership. Refer the Strategies for Securing and Controlling Member Access in It's Me 247 for more details |
Allow a member to enter account nicknames |
This allows a member to rename their online accounts and give them names that mean something specific to them, such as “Colorado Trip.” |
Default setting when setting up transfer control list |
This setting controls the default radio button selection when entering the Audio Response Transfer Control screen in the Member Personal Banker tool. All sub-accounts - This option will allow the base member to transfer to all listed sub-accounts for the selected member in the transfer control list. Owned sub-accounts only- This option allows the base member to transfer to sub-accounts on which they are joint owner or additional signer for the selected member in the transfer control list. They must have a joint owner record on the specific sub account, not just the base shares, in order to transfer to the specific account. Specify - This option allows the member to specify the accounts that they are allowed to transfer to by choosing the sub account from a list. |
Allow member to change Reg E opt in/opt out choice |
This controls whether or not members can set their Reg. E Opt In/Out preference via It’s Me 247 online banking. Leave the flag unchecked if you wish to control these flags via CU*BASE only. Use Member Instructions to enter customized text the member will see online. (Changes to the instructions are immediate.) Refer to the Managing Your Reg E Opt In/Opt Out Offering booklet for details. |
Show who was served (either a jump guest or via Teller Currently Serving) in transaction history |
This is not warranted. |
Apply two factor authentication to P2P |
Check this box and the system prompts members to enter a confirmation code (sent via text or email) to access the Pay Anyone module. (This applies if they are accessing it to enroll or send a P2P transfer, and grants access until they log off of online banking.) This adds another layer of security to help prevent unauthorized access to this payment feature. The email or phone number must be associated with the membership. Refer to the It's Me 247 Person to Person User Guide and the Strategies for Securing and Controlling Member Access in It's Me 247 for more details. |
Email address to notify of incoming request |
Add an email address to be notified when contact requests and personal information change requests are received from members in online banking. Only one email address can be configured; if multiple people should be notified, we suggest setting up an internal distribution list for your credit union. |
