Generate Group of Marketing Leads

These steps explain how to use the List Generator tool to generate a list of accounts with or without certain services.

  • These steps are helpful in marketing certain services to a specific group of members.

  • After you complete the steps below, your list will include all the accounts with or without the features you selected and you can now communicate with the group of members on the list.

  • Once your list has been generated, you can view it in Query.

  1. Launch Tool #447 List Generator (Database/Labels).

  2. On the Member List Generator - Main Selection screen, select which types of memberships you'd like included in your list.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

  4. On the Member List Generator - Member/Non-member Selection screen, select your list parameters.

  5. Click the forward arrow.

  6. On the second Member List Generator - Member/Non-member Selection screen, select additional list parameters.

  7. Click the forward arrow.

  8. On the Member List Generator - Select Accounts WITH screen, select accounts with the desired features.

  9. Click the forward arrow.  

  10. On the Member List Generator - Select Accounts WITHOUT screen, select accounts without certain features.

    • You don't have to select items in both of the Select Accounts With/Without screens, but you do need to select items on at least one of these screens. Otherwise, the list you are generating will show everyone.

  11. Click the forward arrow.

  12. On the Member List Generator - Membership Custom Fields screen, choose to include members who have data in certain Unique Data Management (UDM) custom fields, if applicable.

  13. Click the forward arrow.

  14. On the Member List Generator - Account Custom Fields screen, choose to include members who have data in certain UDM custom fields, if applicable.

  15. Click the forward arrow.

  16. On the Member List Generator Preparation Criteria pop-up, enter the desired month/year in the Date to process field.

  17. Click the forward arrow.

  18. On the final Member List Generator screen, enter a name for your list in the Output to database file field.

  19. In the Printer field, enter P1 if you wish to view the list on your screen only and do not want the list to print to a physical printer.

  20. To make sure your list includes account numbers and can be used to send messages and create Trackers, check the box labeled Include account #.

  21. Click the forward arrow.
