Perform Wire Transfer

These steps explain how to perform an incoming or outgoing wire transfer.

  • If an eReceipt appears after posting the transaction, have the member sign the signature pad. Then print and save the receipt.

  1. Launch Phone Operator by clicking the phone icon at the top of your CU*BASE home screen.

  2. Enter the member's account number.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

    • You may need to click the forward arrow again to move past the Member Account Comments pop-up.

  4. Select the sub-account.

  5. Click Wire.

  6. Enter the amount of the wire transfer on the Post Wire Transfer to Member pop-up.

  7. Make one of the following selections in the Type field:

    • In: incoming wire transfer

    • Out: outgoing wire transfer

  8. Enter the correct wire transfer posting code.

  9. Click the forward arrow.

  10. On the first Post Wire Transfer to Member screen, enter the instructions for the sending of the wire per your credit union procedures.

  11. Click the forward arrow.

  12. On the OFAC Name Breakdown screen, click Continue to run an OFAC scan on the individual initiating the transfer.

    • Follow your credit union policies on handling OFAC scans.

    • If the wire transfer is being sent to an organization/business, click Organization Account to enter the name of the organization.

  13. Click the forward arrow if the scan results in “no hits found.”

  14. Click Post on the final Post Wire Transfer to Member screen.
