Create Employee Template
These steps explain how to create an employee template to expedite assigning tools for different roles within your Credit Union.

If you need tips and tricks, pages 9-11 in AuditLink’s Employee Security Audit booklet will be extremely helpful, though the entire booklet contains a wealth of knowledge.

Launch Tool #327 CU*BASE Employee Security.

Select the Add Employee button.

On the Employee Profile pop-up, input a unique two-character ID in the Employee ID field.

In the Name field, input a template name (ex. Teller 1).

Check the box for This is a template.

Fill out the rest of the fields like you normally would for a new employee.

If you need assistance, follow the steps to Create a New Employee ID.

Make sure to double check the Teller posting checkbox to make sure it is correctly configured.

Select the forward arrow or use Enter.

Select Show Templates. Your new employee template will be listed there.

Select the template you just created, then select Assign Tools to this Empl.

From here, you will assign the template all tools you would assign to any new employee in this role.

After selecting all tools for the template, select Show Assigned to see all tools assigned to the template and confirm these are the tools you want them to have access to.

You can always go back in and add/delete tools to the individual employee or template at a later date if you need to change permissions.

Once you have assigned all the tools you want for the template, use Enter and then select the up arrow to exit.
