Modify Closed-End Consumer Loan

These steps explain how to edit the details of a closed-end consumer loan.

• This is the preferred method because it limits the items you can adjust on the loan.

• You can track the changes made to a loan on the Loan/Open Credit Refinance screen using the New/Refinanced Loan History report, which is generated using Tool #554 New/Refinanced Loan History Report. Learn more about this tool.

1. Launch Tool #507 Member Refinances/Extensions.  

2. Enter the account number and loan suffix.

3. Click the forward arrow.

4. On the Loan/Open Credit Refinance screen, you can edit a number of items including:

   • Payment date

   • Payment amount

   • Maturity date

5. Click the forward arrow.
