Why am I seeing all 9s in fields on this screen? What are the affected tables?

Screen Overview

The Credit Score History dashboard gives you a new opportunity to both create a segment of the population to contact based on credit score history, and to analyze your entire credit report portfolio to see what percentage is improving their scores, worsening, and more.

Upon entering the dashboard, you are given a handful of options to create your list of individuals: credit report date from/to, credit score from/to, change +/- x percent, the pull method (full, soft, manual), the grade/level, and the bureau used. You also have the option to include zero scores or to see only those that were converted into a new loan, those that weren’t, or all.

Besides using this list to export for Member Connect or to view more information on a listed individual, you can dig deeper by pressing Analysis (F11). Once in the Analysis, you will see the selected reports broken down based on their trending (improved, worsened, unchanged, single score), the percentage of the total reports specified, and the average score for each group. You can even see what percentage of the credit reports were converted to loans and the average number of days it took to go from pull to close.

This is an extremely powerful tool with an abundance of uses:

  • Look at all individuals with a credit report pulled in the last 30 days (or longer) to see how those individuals represented break down in terms of improved, worsened, or no change to score.

  • Find individuals whose credit score has improved, but that did not create a new loan.

  • Find individuals whose score has worsened, and who did get a loan.

  • Determine the average number of reports your team is pulling per day.

  • Find out the average number of months between pulls based on the criteria you select.

  • And much more

Using This Screen

The Credit Score History Analysis defaults to show you the last 90 days of credit reports pulled by the credit union - press Enter to see results or use the selection criteria options to narrow your results. Once you have pressed Enter, the system will list credit reports sorted by full SSN/TIN by default. Click on any column heading to sort by that information.

You can click on any record and view an Inquiry on that member, their Outstanding Loan Recap, and Credit History. You can also export your selection for use in Member Connect. This creates an excellent opportunity for marketing campaigns. For example, on a monthly basis, you might pull reports for the last month and choose only to display those between a certain credit score range, whose scores improved since their last report, and that did not result in a new loan. Then follow up with those individuals to see if they're still shopping for a loan.

But beyond simply being a powerful marketing tool, the Credit Score History Analysis can provide an excellent snapshot of your credit report portfolio. Once you've selected your segment of the portfolio to review, select Analysis (F11) to see a statistical break down of that group.
