Research Teller Drawer Balancing Error
These steps explain how to research why your teller drawer remains out of balance, even after you have attempted to resolve your balancing error. This same for Xpress Teller and Standard Teller except for Step #7.

Click Audit on the Teller Control screen.

Use the fields on the Teller Audit/Change Fund Analysis screen to search for specific transaction amounts or audit key type (transaction type).

Compare this list to your physical work.

If you have interrupted processing, you may have a left-to-right error. Click Audit Key Report to generate a report to determine if this is the case.

If you find you do have a left-to-right error, contact a CU*Answers client service representative.

If an adjustment needs to be made, follow your credit union policy. You may need to reverse a transaction.

After making the adjustment, use Tool #1 Teller Line Posting or Tool #1600 Xpress Teller to confirm the correction has put your drawer in balance.
