Cash Corporate Check for Non-Member
These steps explain how to cash a corporate check for a non-member.

When performing non-member services, your credit union should evaluate the relative risk of any non-member services and establish good internal procedures to mitigate any identified risk due to human error or fraudulent activity.

If an eReceipt appears after posting the transaction, have the member sign the signature pad. Then print and save the receipt.

Launch Tool #1 Teller Line Posting.

Enter your employee ID and password on the Teller Processing screen.

Click Non-Member Services.

If you do not see this button, you will need to activate non-member check-cashing services.

Enter the individual's Social Security Number in the SSN/TIN field.

Keep the Process Code selection at Funds in/serving primary member.

Click the forward arrow.

If the non-member Social Security number hasn't been used before in the system, the Non-Member Information screen will appear. Enter demographic information about the non-member. Then click the forward arrow.

Click Continue to move past the OFAC Scan pop-up after reviewing the results.

Click Continue again to move past the Blocked Persons Database pop-up after reviewing the results.

Click the forward arrow to move past the Verify Member pop-up after verifying the non-member's ID.

Click the arrow icon button beside the Inhouse checks field on the Non-Member Account screen.

Enter the in-house Check #, Check Amount, and Account # off which it's being drawn on the In-House Checks screen.

Click Continue.

Click Post on the Non-Member Account screen.
