Add Message for Member in Online Banking

These steps explain how to add a message to the member's Message Center in It's Me 247 Online Banking.

  • These steps can also be used to freeze a member's accounts (all sub-accounts or just a single sub-account).

  • This message will appear in the member's Message Center in online banking (and in CU*BASE if desired).

  1. Launch Phone Operator by clicking the phone icon at the top of your home screen. 

  2. Input the member's account number on the Phone Operator Member Lookup screen.

  3. Click the forward arrow.

  4. Click Add Cmt/Message on the Phone Operator account processing screen.

  5. Select 'Leave message for member via Audio & Online Banking' on the Member Account Message Options pop-up.

  6. Click the forward arrow.

  7. Input '7' in the Type field on the Member Account Comment Maintenance screen.

  8. Input a line number in the Line # field.  

    • This must be a line without an existing comment.

  9. Click the forward arrow.

  10. Select 99-Online Banking on the Audio/Home Banking Messages screen.

  11. Click Select.

  12. Input your message in the Message box on the Online Banking screen.

  13. Click Save Changes.

  14. Change the purge date if desired on the second Member Account Comment Maintenance screen.

    • Comments expire after a year. Enter all 9’s in the purge date if you don’t want the comment to expire.

  15. Leave the 'Display in member account comments window' box checked if you would also like the comment to appear in the Comment window in CU*BASE.

    • Change the text that will appear in the comment window if desired.

  16. Click Leave A/H Banking Msg.
