Screen Overview

This is the first screen is the Xpress Teller flow.  Enter the member's base account number and use Enter to continue to the  Xpress Teller Currently Serving screen.  

At the top of the screen is listed your cash in your teller drawer and the drawer you are activated in.(You can hide this information in the workflow controls, if members view your screen.)

Click You are activated as drawer to view the user you are activates as and the branch you are activate to.

Use this section to search for the account of the person you are serving.  

  • Enter the account in the Account # field and use Enter. Or, click to find your last ten accounts.

  • Click to return directly to assist the last account you served without needing to search for the person or select it from the Currently Serving feature. This is a handy feature if you perform multiple teller transactions for a person.  You will move directly to the Xpress Teller Verify ID screen with that account selected.

  • Enter the first name, middle initial, or last name to search for a name to search MI type names only. When a first name is entered, accounts will be displayed in alphabetical order. When multiple search terms are entered, the result will be ordered by last name.

  • Enter an organization name in the space provided to search on MO types only. This looks in a combination of LNAME, FNAME, MIDIN fields

  • Enter any piece of information on the person in the Other field, click Search, and select the account from the list that appears in the Search results that appear below and to show the members (and their secondary members, if applicable) that fit the results of your search. Click to refresh the screen. See additional Answer Book Items below, (This Search allows the teller to search fields selected in the Workflow controls.) 

  • To access all fields, click Advanced Search, which allows you to search all fields (and only certain fields by checking them.)  You can also use the Advanced Search to limit the fields in which you search for a specific piece of data.

Middle of the Screen

The middle of the screen can display four graphics with optional hyperlinks.  Once search terms are entered and Enter is used, these will be replaced with the Search results.  If you do not see any Search results this may be due to the fact that your Xpress Teller Workflow controls have not been set up yet.  See this topic for more details.

Bottom of the Screen

Shared Branch Network

Click Shared Branch Network to perform shared branch transactions for members of the CUSC or FSCC Shared Branch network (if available to your credit union).

Additional Member Services Pop Up Window

The Additional Member Services window allows you to access feature that are not included in Xpress teller, but that might be needed at the teller line.  This pop up window is configured in the Allow Access To Other Member Service Tools section of the Xpress Teller Workflow Controls (Account Features) screen.  If this window does not appear, refer to the configuration.

  • Comments - Use this to add an account comment

  • Device Configuration - Use this to modify basic workstation configuration settings while working during the day, without having to be granted access to the entire workflow configuration

  • Transfer - Use this to transfer funds from this membership to another account.

  • Edit 2nd Tran Description - Use this to edit the secondary transaction description for the current day's transactions for a member.

  • Sell from Supplemental Vault - Use this to transfer funds directly from the teller drawer to a supplemental vault. (You will have to select teller drawer and supplemental vault on the first screen.)

  • Buy to Supplemental Vault - Use this to transfer funds directly from a supplemental vault to the teller drawer. (You will have to select teller drawer and supplemental vault on the first screen.)

  • Buy/Sell from Teller Drawer - Use this to transfer funds directly from a teller drawer to a teller drawer. (You will have to select teller drawers on the first screen.)

  • Open Accounts - Use this as starting point for opening new memberships, opening new sub-accounts for existing memberships, or updating membership information, including many other credit union products and services, from eStatement enrollment to household database management.

  • Close Accounts - Use this as an easy access to all of the CU*BASE screens and features needed when ending a relationship with a member, including closing account, closing membership, and redeeming certificates.

  • Rates - Use this for rate inquiries and up-to-date information on dividend rates for all account types, including share, certificate and loans.

  • Drawer Control/Audit - Use this to access the teller drawer and to balance at the end of the day.

Return to Last Account

Use this feature to return directly to assist the last account you served without needing to search for the person or select it from the Currently Serving feature. This is a handy feature if you perform multiple teller transactions for a person.  You will move directly to the Xpress Teller Verify ID screen with that account selected.
